Amp Auction: 1982 MARSHALL JCM800 2203 MK2 Master 100W Lead amp

Amp Auction Description: BIDDING STARTS AT ONLY 99 CENTS!This auction is for a true classic, vintage Marshall JCM800 guitar amplifier in very good condition. The tubes were replaced with JJ EL34s last year, and have only about 30 hours on them. The exterior case (tolex/cloth) is in fair shape; there are some nicks, exposed wood, tears, chipped plastic, as the photos show, but nothing unreasonable. Inside is very clean as you can see. The only parts that have been replaced, to my knowlededge, are the handle (genuine Marshall parts replacement), tubes, and the resistor piggy-backed to convert from 6550s to EL34s, as that was my preference. The resistor is easily removed, and will retain the stock configuration should the buyer desire to return back to 6550s. Amp is 100% functional and sounds great, as you would expect. I should add that the outside of chassis (front and back) have some scratches; please see photos for details. Not perfect cosmetically, but not unreasonable either. Electronically and tonally in EXCELLENT condition though - that's the important part, right!! ;)On Apr-27-10 at 13:09:43 PDT, seller added the following information:PLEASE NOTE: I apologize for my mis-statement in the above text, but TWO resistors were added for the bias change, not just the one. There is another piggybacked to the resistor in line with the trim pot too. Again, just simply soldered to the legs of the existing resistor, so easy change to go back to 6550s. I had a tech do this work, so hence my oversight. For the curious, the work was done by Obed Khan in St. Louis, MO working out of the shop Killer Vintage.
