Amp Auction: Line 6 Vetta II Combo / FBV Long / 2X12 Extention Cab

Line 6 Vetta II Combo / FBV Long / 2X12 Extention Cab Amp Auction Description: Line 6 Vetta II Guitar AmpFBV Longboard2 X 12 Extension Cab NO RESERVEThanks for viewing my auction!Well I'm selling my baby. I bought this amp new at Guitar Center when the Vetta II first came out. At the time, I was in a band and we were doing some studio recording. This is perhaps the best studio amp ever made. There is so much you can do with this amp in a studio to tune in the perfect tone and effects. After the learning curve is over, this amp can really add new elements to your music. It basically has every effect stomp box Line 6 has ever made built-in, every amp emulation and a ton of digital signal processing. We would use it like a POD sometimes an run it directly into the audio interface (it also has a digital direct out) for some tones or mic it and dial in a natural room reverb. I cannot express in words what this amp can do. Nobody would sit an read that much of my rambling... I hope. It's in great shape. Everything works like the day it was new and it sounds great. I play a lot of acoustic and if you want clean, this amp is perfect. I've got a guitar with an acoustic bridge and you can set this amp up to really sing. As for the distortion, everyone already knows Line6 is known for there distortion emulations and this amp makes them sound really accurate. I guess if you are looking to buy one of these you should have a pretty good idea of whats going on. I've got the original manual but it is out of date because of the firmware updates so I'll print a brand new one if the winner wants (I own a print shop). I would guess that the amp has less than 40 hours of playing time on it. I bought the FBV Floorboard at the same time as the amp. I still have the box. This is really what makes this amp so versatile for live performance. It allows you to tap into all the effects and tones with a click. It is also in excellent condition. The extension cab was hand built for me out of void free plywood. It was designed to the same specifications as a Mesa Boogie 212 cab. It has 2 high-end Eminence drivers and it can really add to a live performance. The Vetta II is a stereo amp so you can run the extension cab across the room and get some really crazy stereo effects like the "roto". So why am I selling this amp? Well, it is really just too much for me. I've got a little tube amp and when I have time to play guitar, I really don't need all the extra stuff that makes this amp great. It needs a good home so someone can have as much fun with it as I have. Other Thoughts:This thing is loud. Not talking your normal 150 watt combo. This is a high-end noise beast. I've never turned it on full power; it has a setting to cut the power in half and that's where I keep it. I wouldn't want to be in the same room as this amp turned up half way. It would literally make your ears bleed.Since it was one of the first Vetta 2s it was manufactured with metal knobs. This was a technical error because the vibration of the amp would allow the knobs to rotate and change the settings. I got that all fixed up from Line6. They sent me some lighter weight knobs that don't turn when the amp is vibrating.Small tear on the tolex on the back right side. Can't really see it. See photo below.Small scratch on the Line6 logo on the front but who cares when your getting an amp that is pretty much new.I have updated the firmware to the latest version.Shipping: Buyer will pay for all shipping cost. I think it would be best to ship this amp via freight line because of the weight and the extra cabinet. Basically, if you want it delivered to a house, the freight truck would pull-up to your house and then you could take the amp off the pallet. I'm just afraid of boxing it up and having UPS beat the hell out of it when I could wrap it up on a skid the right way and not worry about them destroying the amp. Honestly, if you have access to a loading dock this is the best option because I get a bunch of special discounts with freight lines. In the end, the buyer is responsible for the shipping. I am more than happy to help but I love this amp and its too expensive not to package it the right way. I would also suggest buying insurance. I promise to help find the cheapest, most effective way to ship this item. Anyone who would buy this amp knows what it is and wouldn't want it damaged in transit.
