Amp Auction Description: For Auction:Marshall JCM 2000 Dual Super Lead 100 Watt Guitar AmplifierMade in EnglandI am selling my Marshall to help secure a down-payment on a new house.I will be selling other items over the next few days as well.I bought this head used in the same great condition you see here.It has only been used for recording and the hand picked tubes still sound great. Most folks will agree that this is one of the best Marshall models ever and maybe even the last "great" model made by Marshall.There are just enough options to sculpt endless tones without sacrificing audio quality. Channel one can compete with a JCM 800 and Channel 2 can give you a juiced up JCM 900 style tone.Each channel has 2 modes. Channel One = Clean & Crunch and Channel Two = Lead 1 & Lead 2The Clean mode can be made to break up nicely at highest setting and the Crunch mode can be pushed past vintage rock/metal - This is the JCM800 voicing mode.The lead 2 mode will cover any lead or heavy rhythm tone you could ever need while Lead 2 will take it well beyond high gain. I don't see how anyone could bash this amp. The EQ on this head is classic Marshall style with the Bonus of a Deep switch and a Mid Scoop switch. This amp has not been abused or gigged heavily.The front of the amp is not discolored.
