Amp Auction Description: Up for auction is a "DEAD MINT" Mesa Engineering Rocket 44 1x12 Combo. I have babied this amp since I got in 2006. I'm the second owner but I bought this from the original owner while it was almost brand new [he played it just a couple of times as it was bought as a back-up]. And it's remained cherry ever since. This is a great little gigging amp as it has "serious" power for it's size. 45 watts [conservative rating] from [4] EL84's make this little locomotive chug. This will go from Fender-like chimey to brutal crunch at the touch of a button. [4] 12AX7's in the pre-amp section give it 3 modes into 2 channels [footswitchable] with independant gain and master for each channel. Comes with bass, middle, treble and reverb [spring reverb]. The power section is the same "DYNA-WATT" class as the DC-3. It responds to your touch almost like a class A. Also has parallel FX loop w/ mix control, record/headphone out, multi-speaker output configuration, and silent record mute switch. Comes with original 3 button footswitch and vynil slipcover. Has the original Celestion [0 Custom 9] 12 inch speaker. This is your basic 'Have Tone - Will Travel set-up. You can find your personal sweet spot with this little cutie. And since this has been discontinued, it's a collectors item as well. Of all the amps I've owned, this has been my personal favorite. I hate to sell it, but times being what they are...well. Now I'm starting this out at .99 but I'm putting a reserve on it [very reasonable for this]. Shipping will be a flat $65 to the continental US [includes insurance and tracking].
