Made in 2007, and having since been discontinued, this particular model features: all-tube circuitry, a single instrument input, controls for Reverb, Master Volume, Presence, Bass, Middle, Treble, a Dynamic Range switch which acts like a treble booster, a Mid Boost switch, as well as Detail and Body controls for the Preamp. The Marshall 2266 puts out 50 watts RMS of tube power courtesy of (4) ECC83 preamp tubes and (2) KT66 power tubes. All effects and tone controls work perfectly without any scratchiness, noise, popping or intermittence.Cosmetically, this amp is in very good used condition, with only a couple notable flaws. The Deep Purple tolex (purple base with a concentrated splattered black covering, see pics) exhibits a couple plainly visible rips in the exterior, but other than that, it looks as good as new. All of the knobs are intact, the plastic corners are all in great shape, and both the front and back plates are perfect.
