Amp Auction Description: Great VINTAGE Fender tone and power in an easy to handle package. If you've clicked on this item, you probably know of the possibilities with this amp. It is 85 watts of good ol' Fender tube tone and vibe. I am seeing more and more pro musicians using different amp and speaker combinations for the different demands of various venues, depending on size of room, acoustics, size of band, outside gig? - you name it. There is enough power here for any gig and any speaker size. Of course, you may need a nice blond/wheat head to go with your matching speaker cabinet...here it is. The pix don't lie. This amp is in exceptional condition and has no signs of abuse at all. I have not done any repairs on the Tolex other than cleaning. The hardware and knobs are also original; all there. This amp has not been banged around in the past 47 years. Also, as can be seen, the power and out-put transformers and choke are the original set that came on the amp. If you can't read the numbers, just e-mail a question and I'll give them to you. The electrolytics have been replaced, much like you change the fan belt on a '57 Chevy. These are all the RIGHT parts and the work is excellent. This vintage amp is now good for another lifetime! I will gladly e-mail additional pix of the interior of the chassis if you need more info. I have packed and shipped many amps over the years with no blow-back. Tubes are removed and individually (cushion) wrapped; interior cavity is filled with padding and the whole thing is then double-wrapped. Please, take a good look, and thank you for your interest.
