Amp Auction Description: This is a matching extension cabinet for my Mesa Boogie Mark iii amp. (in another listing)It is a closed back Thiele cabinet loaded with an EV (electrovoice) 12L speaker.If you know what this is---congratulations.If you don't know what it is, (many have never seen these cabs)....Boogie and EV worked together back in the day to design a near-perfect baffling system inside this cabinet to enhance the "throw" and tonal characteristics of the speaker.It is a closed-back system and when you use it with the Mark iii it is AMAZING! A lot of other companies tried to copy it to no avail. I have played many shows where other guitarists were using 2x12 or 4x12 cabs and my rig SMOKED them all.These are getting very hard to find and with much regret I realize I have to let it go.This cab is listed locally as well and I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time for any reason.Thanks!615.504.5728
