Amp Auction Description: Up for auction on 1959 Magnatone 280 Stereo Vibrato Hi-Fi guitar and accordion amplifier. This is the holy grail of Magnatone amps. It was the model used by the likes of Buddy Holley and countless others. These amps are getting hard to find in this condition. This amp is all original including speakers, tolex, cover, tubes, and transformers. It was just serviced by Mike Bacino of Bacino Amplification. Mike installed a three prong plug and replaced the bias pot and one cap. This amp works perfect. It sounds amazing and the vibrato is to die for. I purchased this from the original owner's son. The casters on the bottom of the amp were added long ago. I have included pictures of the innards. Please ask questions before you bid not after. Don't miss this great opportunity.
