Amp Auction Description: Hi everybody. I'm auctioning off my good ol' Blues Deluxe amp. I got it in 2000 second hand and it's been my mail amp since then. The previous owner had played it regularly in his church, so maybe it's got a little bit of the holy ghost in there. Good vibes. This is a MADE IN THE USA original Fender Blues Deluxe. Not the modern reissue.I used to play out with this, but for the past... maybe 7 years it's just been a living room amp. It works perfectly and sounds great. It's all original with the exception of Input jack no. 1. I had to replace that, but it was a simple fix and it works great. It has its original vinyl cover with the cool vintage Fender logo on it. And it comes with the original channel switching footswitch.This is a LOUD 40 watt amp, but it also sounds great at living room volume since it has a master volume knob. Beautful clean tones and fun crunch overdrive. I never really used it to go into insane face-melting distortion. Just a little gritty/crunchy stuff which it does a great job of.According to the internet the amp was built in November 1995. (FK date on quality control stamp inside cabinet)The tweed covering is used and just a little abused. It looks really cool and well loved. No ugly rips, just wear and tear on the corners. A few years ago I gave it a few coats of shellac to seal up the tweed and give it a nice vintage look so now it's more durable for future use. The control panel has tarnished a little with age but the knobs are all in great shape and the labels are all clear, knobs and controls all work great.It has two MESA 6L6 tubes and 3 Groove Tubes AX7s. Real spring reverb sounds great. This amp is a beauty and I'll miss it alot.The previous owner also installed casters so you can roll it around and move it easier. I always liked them and left them on, but you could easily take them off and put on metal glides, or rubber feet. Wheels work great though so I left them on.SO, that's all I've got to say about it.
