Amp Auction: Mesa Boogie Mark IV 85 watt Guitar Amp long head

Mesa Boogie Mark IV 85 watt Guitar Amp long head Amp Auction Description: Mesa Boogie Mark 4You are bidding on a mesa mark 4 serial number IV009656. I originally bought this amp as a wide body combo but didn't like the combo sound so i bought a 212 recto cab and took this fine amp to my table saw and made it into a head. If i didn't tell you that you would have never know that it was a combo because you cant tell, but since i am selling it, for full disclosure i must tell you that up front. that was more than 3 years ago and the amp still looks great and sounds AWESOME! Amp comes with 4 6l6gc mesa tubes and 2 jj el34 and 2 jj6l6gc, foot switch and power cord. Amp has very little wear and has never left my house since i purchased it.for the FULL BOOGIE! purchase a 212 or 412 recto and wow what a tone monster!I am selling because I have decided to downsize by purchasing an axefx ultra and 2 atomic reactors. Since i don't play out i would like to have lower volume(guess i am getting old).Legendary in performance, these giant killers continue the legacy that first defined Mesa/Boogie®. Their compact size, stunning power and ultimate versatility have served legions of proud owners who see the Mark IV„˘ as the culmination of guitar amp evolution. The fifty thousand Mark I, II, III and IVs still in active duty are testament to this heritage. Three Big Sounds ¦with individual control and total conviction: Rhythm 1 feels bouncy and shimmers with freshness. The Lead Mode is blistering high-gain focus. And Rhythm 2 covers that elusive middle ground. This mode alone can produce an alternate Clean, a purring Blues or a grinding Crunch. All this and the elusive magic of Simul-Class® ¦our patented way of enriching a power section. Think of it as two different power amps working simul-taneously. One extracts the juice of Class A sweetness while the other delivers the high power punch of Pentode Class AB. On Feb-09-11 at 16:21:36 PST, seller added the following information: I added a picture of the bottom of the cabinet for those of you concerned about my carpentry skills.I have had plenty of experience with wood working. I am missing the tip of 3 fingers due to a table saw accident while making a cedar chest 20 years ago. lolThe holes you see are from the stock mesa boogie casters that i removed and placed on the bottom of my 212 recto cab.after all the mark 4 cab does look fine and is only modified on the bottom anyway.there are no rattles or buzzes at high volumeTone is unaffected on the monster.if you want the original casters just purchase my recto cab because it sounds awesome with a mark 4 anyway.good luck and happy bidding
