Amp Auction Description: This head is not working. Please read the description carefully. Thanks. This is a Marshall JMP / Mk 2 Master Model 100 Watt Lead head. Not sure of the manufacture date but the serial # is 00909M. These are pretty rare. It has some scratches and tears in the tolex and the name plate is gone. I bought it back in the 90's. When it's serviced it plays like a complete beast. Extremely loud and simply amazing metal/classic rock tones. Hardly gets any better. high / low inputs preamp volume / master volume / treble, middle, bass and presence adjustable knobs impedance switch (4, 8 or 16 ohm) 2 speaker outputs 4 amp, 1 amp main fuse Please read carefully:All that being said, it definitely needs service to get it up and running. It powers up (the light comes on) but doesn't make any sound. When I replaced the fuse, I was able to play through it for about a minute before it blew and fizzed out. It could be a tube issue but I'm really not qualified to say. The current tubes are JJ EL 34's. They seem to be in good shape. One of them is a little loose and doesn't have a spring retainer. I'm looking to sell this to put some money away for a less expensive, small combo amp. Contact me with your questions and I'll do my best to answer them.
