It has the Deluxe Mod by Voodoo Amps (standard mod plus the MM output transformer). It is common with a large number of amps. There is no fix for this because of the switching relays used. I used this for recording so it was not an issue for me. Even stock rectifiers will have a popping sound when changing channels.Here is what Trace says about it:No there is no Mod or fix that will remove the popping/loud noise you are experiencing when switching channels. This is due to the way the switching system was designed. (IE: loud "pops" when switching channels). The older 2-channel models did not do this as opto couplers were used - significantly more costly than relays - which most modern production amplifiers utilize for switcing. Relays can be made silent however we are not able to correct this on the 3-channel Rectifiers (if we could, we would). I am only selling because it is so loud and I live in a condo. It needs to be on a stage. Sounds far superior to a stock rectifier. I also have four other Voodoo Modded Amps.
