Amp Auction Description: Mint condition Vintage Modern 2466 100 Watt head! Purple color tolex, effects loop, reverb, original kt66 power tubes ( amp only has about 12 hours use in 2 years!). This amp has one channel, but acts as if it has 2! Heres how it works-it has a high dynamic range and a low dynamic range. High dynamic setting gives you the higher gain-you can get a pretty good "sag" (like an early VH sound) and no footpedals needed! Low dynamic can give you a decent clean by just rolling your guitar volume down a bit. So, by using the footswitch(included) you can go from a nice higher gain and switch to low dynamic and get a good clean by backing off your guitar volume! It's almost like having a JCM 800 and being able to use both high and low inputs, and switching them with a footswitch. Reverb is also footswitchable. Mid-boost switch tightens things up and adds a bit of gain. The gains are seperate in that you have a high tone stack gain and a lower tone stack gain. By mixing the two you dial in your tone! Even though this is a 100 watt amp I find that it distorts the power tubes pretty well at about 3-4 and the volume isn't ear-splitting like my old plexi. No reserve auction-check my feedback!
