Amp Auction: VINTAGE FENDER BASSMAN 50 HEAD AND AMP PRE CBS? TUBE

Amp Auction Description: Up for bid is a extremely clean, used Fender Bassman 50 head and amp cabinet combo. I believe this unit to be a pre CBS model but am not positive. Any information provided will be helpful. Head serial # is A85170 and cabinet serial # is 33593. Any information on the date of manufacture would also be helpful. Heres the story.... This unit was sold new at Morgan Music in Lebanon Missouri to a local church where it spent a good part of its life. The church later traded it back to Morgan Music for something more light and manuverable. It was then sold to a dear friends father in the mid 70's where it remained until today. Condition is exceptional considering its age. I have taken photos of any wear and tear on the cover. This is one of the cleanest amps i have ever had. Appears to be all original except plug has been replaced with a three prong plug. (plug only, cord is still original) Streak on backside of cabinet is a drip mark and i will be working to remove this prior to shipment. All other defects are shown in the pictures. I am selling this for a friend. Any information on this would be helpful. This is a Head and cabinet package. Items will be sold as a combo only. Please dont ask us to seperate P.S.
