Marshall has been the leading name in tube amps for decades! The Vintage Modern is a single channel amp with 2 separate dynamic ranges for a wide variety of tones! With 4 12ax7's in the preamp section and 2 KT66's in the power section, this baby will give you all the warm tube tone you could ever need! Choose the 'LOW' Dynamics and this behaves just as you'd expect a classic Marshall would. Set it to 'HIGH' Dynamics and the 4th 12ax7 is engaged for some serious gain! Add to that the Mid Boost and the sky is the limit! Everything from basic crunch to sick late 70's high gain! The Marshall Vintage Modern is one of those amps that are just infinitely tweakable- the more time you invest with it- the greater the range of tones! And, talk about dynamics, this one has got to be one of the most responsive amps I've ever plugged into!
