Amp Auction Description: Vintage Fender Twin Reverb. Silverface. 1976 or 77 Great clean sounds. Good condition. This amp was just serviced and checked in December. One 12AX7 tube was replaced and a capacitor. Reverb, tremolo and everything else works. I will include a copy of the receipt from the work done and checkup in december. Service during the past year: June 2010, the reverb tank, power switch, capacitor, power tubes. and on/off switch, and the plug that connects the speaker wire to the chassis were replaced. I am not a music store or ebay or craigslist "flipper". I am a professional musician and all my equipment is well maintained and gig ready. I've owned this amp for 8 years, and I am the third owner.Footswitch that turns the reverb and tremolo on and off is included {looks original to me}. The wall plug has been converted to a 3 prong for safety. The removable caster wheels are included which connect to the bottom of the amp and allow it to roll. Tilt back legs function, as you can see in the photo above. Speakers: I've replaced the speakers in this amp with 2 blue label fender speakers that were pulled from an original, not a reissue, 67 blackface twin reverb. I don't know if the speakers were original to that amp or not . There are 3 sets of numbers on each speaker:105379465-9101216-1000537912T6-10465-309Two years ago, the technician who serviced it at that time told me that based on the numbers on the inside parts, he believed it was manufactured in 1976. A recent article in Vintage Guitar magazine. "Fender amps, by the numbers" states that serial numbers beginning in the letter "A" followed by 6 digits are from 77 to 78. Based on the physical features and the fact that this amp is 100 watts and not 120, I believe it is 76 or 77 at the latest. If you are looking for an adult-owned, recently serviced vintage fender from a non-smoking home, this is it. You can actually take this amp to gigs and use it the way it was intended. If you are comparison shopping by price only, you'll be paying more in the end. Ask your music store how much it is to replace all the capacitors and tubes in a vintage amp. Amp techs who actually know what they are doing won't even open up an amp for under $50.This amp is great for guitar but I've also seen keyboard players use them. This amp is excellent for Rock, Jazz, Country or Blues. It is loud enough for almost any venue, and many regard it as one of the best clean amps ever. ***IMPORTANT: I will charge actual shipping for this amp. I am not going to tack on any extra charges. It is very heavy, and there is no way for me to calculate the shipping charges until I have the winning bidder's address. Ebay "shipping calculators" do not work. I will ship UPS insured and packed securely. I will remove the tubes from the amp and pack them safely inside the box. At the end of the auction, after I receive your shipping address, I will contact you with the actual shipping price, and you can pay the difference. I have the shipping price listed at $80. If it is less, I will refund you the difference, however I believe it will be at least $80 or more.Absolutely No Returns on this item. Contact me with any questions. I can not guarantee that I will be able to respond to questions on the final day of the auction. If you are dissatisfied with anything after you receive the amp I will work with you to correct it. Your bid is a contract, by bidding on this item you are: Acknowledging that you have read the entire listing, reviewed all photos, agree to pay all shipping charges incurred by me, even in the unlikely event that I am forced to issue a refund of the purchase price.I have 100% positive feedback. Shipping to USA lower 48 only. On Jan-27-11 at 11:14:20 PST, seller added the following information:http://www.superiormusic.com/page195.htmBased on the above website, it appears that the speakers were manufactured by Oxford for Fender, and the amp itself is a 1977 as I suspected. I included a picture of the serial number in the auction photos above. On Jan-29-11 at 10:10:07 PST, seller added the following information:Tube ampGroove tubes and Electro Harmonix tubes.Has a few minor scuffs as you would expect on a 34 year old amp, the worst of which I've shown in this pictures. I didn't shine it up for the photos, so you can see some dust on it. I'll let you clean up the tolex. When amp techs work on it, they always comment on what great condition it is in. The last one rated it at about 8 out of 10 for sound. Old Fender amps can be inconsistent when it comes to sound quality, but he said this was "one of the good ones".As I said earlier in the listing, this amp will give you enough stage volume for just about any size venue, and just to give you an idea, I used it to play The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC once. That is a 900 person capacity venue. I also used it to play the Roxy Theatre in Northampton PA {a couple hundred person capacity} and I didn't even need to mic it for that one. If you're going to play Madison Square Garden, you might need two of these, but other than that, you'll be good...

Amp Auction Description: Brand New Suhr Badger 30 Watt Amp Head NO RESERVE!!List Price $1995 The Badger 30 is more than simply a more powerful version of the extremely popular Badger 18. Featuring EL34 power tubes, a larger output transformer and a tweaked preamp voicing to better match the tubes and the tranny, the Badger 30 not only has more power and headroom than the Badger 18, it has more aggressive and pronounced midrange that is punchier with a tighter and more focused lows. Although called the Badger 30, this handsome little beast puts out 38 watts and has enough power to cut through a dense stage mix and handle medium-sized clubs and similar size venues such as a church. In fact, the Badger amps have become very popular with church worship bands and the Badger 30 is perfect for those large services with an audience of 300 to as many as a thousand. Whatever size the venue, the Badger 30 has the headroom and the power to be heard loud and clear while retaining the high quality tonal characteristics that has made the Badger 18 amp the choice of such seasoned pros as Mike Landau, Peter Thorn, Walter Becker, Boz Scaggs, John Shanks and many others. Try the Badger 30 if you need more power but still want to retain the lively feel and lush tonal characteristics of a smaller cathode-biased all-tube amp. Amp Auction Description: Fender Vibrolux Reverb Amp for sale. Built in early 1970, based on serial number and date codes on components and original (2X10) Oxford ceramic speakers. I purchased this "silverface" amp in 1978 (still have the receipt), and it has had very light use since then. I have maintained it meticulously over the years, adding a few new tubes, caps and plugs when needed (all receipts available). Original foot switch is included. Everything works perfectly, with outstanding reverb and tremolo sounds. There are no rips, stains or tears in the grill cloth or Tolex covering. Cosmetically very clean. Tubes will be individually wrapped for protection during shipping and labeled for easy re-installation. I am selling it because I need an amp that is lighter, smaller and quieter, but I'll be sorry to see it go. Will ship anywhere in the USA, but would especially welcome a local buyer.

LIVE AUCTION REQUIREMENTS - SEE BEFORE BIDDING
Amp Auction Description: Hi everybody. I'm auctioning off my good ol' Blues Deluxe amp. I got it in 2000 second hand and it's been my mail amp since then. The previous owner had played it regularly in his church, so maybe it's got a little bit of the holy ghost in there. Good vibes. This is a MADE IN THE USA original Fender Blues Deluxe. Not the modern reissue.I used to play out with this, but for the past... maybe 7 years it's just been a living room amp. It works perfectly and sounds great. It's all original with the exception of Input jack no. 1. I had to replace that, but it was a simple fix and it works great. It has its original vinyl cover with the cool vintage Fender logo on it. And it comes with the original channel switching footswitch. This is a LOUD 40 watt amp, but it also sounds great at living room volume since it has a master volume knob. Beautful clean tones and fun crunch overdrive. I never really used it to go into insane face-melting distortion. Just a little gritty/crunchy stuff which it does a great job of.According to the internet the amp was built in November 1995. (FK date on quality control stamp inside cabinet)The tweed covering is used and just a little abused. It looks really cool and well loved. No ugly rips, just wear and tear on the corners. A few years ago I gave it a few coats of shellac to seal up the tweed and give it a nice vintage look so now it's more durable for future use. The control panel has tarnished a little with age but the knobs are all in great shape and the labels are all clear, knobs and controls all work great. It has two MESA 6L6 tubes and 3 Groove Tubes AX7s. Real spring reverb sounds great. This amp is a beauty and I'll miss it alot. The previous owner also installed casters so you can roll it around and move it easier. I always liked them and left them on, but you could easily take them off and put on metal glides, or rubber feet. Wheels work great though so I left them on.SO, that's all I've got to say about it. I'll answer any questions you have. But here are lots of big photographs of pretty much every detail of the amp.Take a look. Thanks for looking.Shipping looks like it will be about 45 dollars. I won't know until I pack it and bring it to the post office. I will only charge the actual shipping price. No extra fees. Just basic shipping with insurance and a tracking number. I'm estimating 45 dollars from my research. On Jan-22-11 at 16:19:50 PST, seller added the following information:For more detailed info on the original BLUES DELUXE you can check out this page.

LIVE AUCTION REQUIREMENTS - SEE BEFORE BIDDING
Amp Auction Description: 100-watt, 6L6-powered Model T : The Model T features two independent channels that each feature a no-nonsense complement of controls: Channel one has knobs for volume, treble, middle and bass, while channel two adds a gain knob for dialing in the desired level of crunch; both channels share a presence control. The rear panel boasts the usual array of speaker output jacks, a very welcome XLR out for direct recording and a handy "arena/club" switch that shifts the amp to 25-watt low-power mode for use in more intimate-size venues. The rear panel also houses the send and return jacks for the Model T's fottswitchable effects loop. For players who prefer to apply differing levels of signal processing to their clean and dirty tones, the amp has dedicated send and return level controls on each channel, and the loop is assignable to either or both channels, with a different dry/wet mix for each. But while good looks, half-power switches and flexible effects routing are all well and good, they won't get you very far if your amp blows up. To that end, the designers of the Model T have built in an excellent little feature that could very well save your life (or at least your career). Two LEDs indicate that status of the amp's two pair of 6L6 power tubes. If all is well, both LEDs shine green; if any of the four tubes fail, the amplifier automatically shuts down the tube with which it is paired and continues to function at half power, a status indicated by a red LED. This feature is quite comforting on high-stress gigs"especially if you don't have an army of techs at your disposal and a backup amp fired up and ready to go.This amp is amazing and is capable of just about any tone out there. The gain/distortion channel is top notch and can get very heavy or if you need just a little dirt well thats easy too.I have a soft padded dust cover I will include or for extra shipping i can send it in a custom made road-case i had made for it years back.Im getting rid of this because I need some extra bones and Im also thinking of sticking with just my vintage 'T's...good luck...

LIVE AUCTION REQUIREMENTS - SEE BEFORE BIDDING
Amp Auction Description: For sale is a 1964 Selmer Zodiac Twin 30 Preamp and Power Amp. It's all original except for a replaced power transformer (still has original Partridge Iron!) for US voltage (110/115/120 VAC), 4 ohm and 8 ohm output jacks for us as a head, three prong cable, and some a few faulty components replaced. The work was done by John Chambers of Champ Electronics (http://chambonino.com/), who also wound the new transformer (he his still has the original as far as I know). The original Wima caps are still in the amp and going strong, and the changes to the amp have had no effect on the tone. All of the preamp tubes are original Brimar Tubes, two EF86, two ECC83 tubes, and blinking eye tremolo tube. The power amp tubes are JJs, one ECC83, two EL34, and one GZ34. It does not include the tremolo footswitch, however I have a period correct Selmer footswitch that looks exactly the same but with a different size input jack, contact me if you're interested in that as you would just need to splice on a new jack. I also have an original perfect working 30 watt Selmer branded Goodmans 12" 30 watt Ceramic speaker that originally came with the Selmer Zodiac Twin 30, great for a 1x12 cabinet to go with the amp.Due to the high tendency of EF86 to become microphonic because of vibrations in combo amps, and the rarity of Selmer Crocodile era cabinets and Celestion G12 T731 alnico speakers, I decided to turn this amp into a head unit. This is a beautiful sounding amp, clean and powerful with slight break up at almost full volume. It's very similar to a JMI era Vox and has a beautiful chime, except it has the power of a Marshall Plexi under the hood. Put a overdrive pedal in front of the amp at full volume and you'll be in 60s distortion heaven. These rarely turn up in America, especially all ready to go, fully serviced and functional. Not to mention having a high quality power transformer running on US voltage so need to mess with a variac. Just plug this baby into your favorite cabinet and let loose! As far as I know, you can wire it for 4, 8, or 16 ohm output, so if you want to use with a Marshall cabinet you just have to move one wire. If you haven't heard this amp before, just check out Arctic Monkeys, The White Stripes, and Franz Ferdinand, who have all used this amp to create some of the coolest recent guitar tones on record. The amp will be shipped in a sturdy custom made wooden crate and securely packaged. Good luck bidding!More pictures here: http://s37.photobucket.com/albums/e64/seifer_alamasy/Selmer%20Zodiac%20Twin%2030/If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me. I will ship internationally, cost will be determined after auction close. Shipping outside of America will cost at least $100, please consider this when bidding. Not shipping to Italy, sorry. On Jan-20-11 at 14:26:47 PST, seller added the following information:Someone just asked me about the Crocodile era Selmer Zodiac 2x12 cabinet that was just listed; that is the correct cabinet for my Selmer Zodiac Twin 30 amp in case anyone wants to restore this amp into a combo. I have no affiliation with that seller, but thought you would like to know. Thanks for bidding and good luck.

Amp Auction Description: You're bidding on an original Peavey 5150 signature head. It is used, with some cosmetic damage but is in mint working condition. There is some paint worn off the corners from use. Also, which is unavoidable with this head, a couple of the corners of the top vent are chipped off. It's got a couple dings throughout it from touring with it, but like mentioned previously..it works perfectly. It has its original preamp tubes and brand new Sovtek 6L6WXT+ power tubes that I have only tested once. It comes with the original foot switch, although the wire may have a short and has tear in the wire held with electrical tape. It's a great amp with lots of power, I've had it for 10 years and haven't used it in the last 2 so it's time to give it up.Good Luck. Please ask questions if you have any before you bid! LIVE AUCTION REQUIREMENTS - SEE BEFORE BIDDING
Amp Auction Description: Hello!!!!!!!!!Today, you are bidding on a Mesa Boogie Nomad 45 2x12 Combo and it's road case.CONDITIONFirst, lets talk condition. In the first two pics, I tried to catch it in slightly different light so you can tell, without photographic flattery, what the thing really looks like. As you can see, there's kind of a white mark on the grill cloth. I did my absolute best to make that really pop in the picture. In person, it's not quite as noticable, and in a dark venue, it's not even there. There are a couple tiny imperfections in the Taurus (tolex) covering on the rear near the bottom. We're talking fingernail clipping size. Just to cover myself, there may be one or 2 more, that I haven't noticed, but the thing really is in great shape. About as good as it gets for such a heavily used item. Also, the sewn leather handle on the top has some threads that are loosening. The handle is still attached, and is 100% safe to lift the amp with, just had to say it and didn't wanna waste a pic on it. If you simply must see this, I have a pic and would be glad to mail it to you.Functionally, there are absolutely zero issues. Every single thing works just like it should. All 3 channels, all the toggle switches, the footswitch, the reverb, the FX loop... everything is tip top. This has been my main gigging amp for the last couple years and has served me like a champ. I have never had an issue during a gig (or practice) for that matter.Although it's been gigged many times, it has been very well taken care of and has never traveled outside of its case.THE FEATURESI wont get too awful deep into these as they're available here:For info on the whole Nomad preamp design:http://mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/Out_of%20_Production/Nomad_Designs/nomad_designs.htmlFor just the specific 45 watt model features list:http://mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/Out_of%20_Production/Nomad_Designs/Nomad_45/nomad_45.htmlQuick rundown form someone who knows (me):3 Channels, 2 modes each.Channel 1: Mode 1 is clean. This is your Fendery-Voxy clean channel. What more is there to say, it sounds great. Old Fender amps no longer impress me as they do some people. This is better because the clean channel has a gain knob, so you can get it to respond just the way you want it to. Mode 2 is Pushed. This is the "tube screaming" light breakup sound you've all heard. Bumps up the mids and gain. Dirty classic rock type stuff.Channel 2: This is the more Mark series voiced dirty channel. It's very full, round, and warm but NOT muddy at all. Mode 1 is Vintage. Its a very 70's rock and roll type distortion. From AC/DC to Santana, this is that big fat 70s sound. Mode 2 is Modern. This pushes the bass/treble/gain/volume up a touch and just makes it a little more intense.Channel 3: This is the highest gain channel. It's got kind of a modded Marshall tone to it. Mode 1 is Modern. This is pretty standard high gain. Not quite modern metal, but more gain than say 80s metal. You can get a wealth of different rock tones with this mode. Very tight, very focused, and a little brighter than channel 2. Mode 2 is Vintage. This softens/smooths it out a little bit. A protip for channel 3 is to use a middle or neck pickup (humbuckers work, but singles are best for this) and set the gain low. Set the treble high-ish, mids kinda low, and bass around noon. This yields one of the best "icy" blues type sounds I've ever heard. SRVish, very snappy, jangly, delcious overdrive that cleans up perfectly with the guitar's volume knob. The extreme switch on the back changes the voicing of the whole amp, basically sounds like you dumped some steroids into the thing. It's louder, a little more gain, and EXTERMELY tight. This is for when you wanna hit them in the chest... it doesn't mess around.Long spring reverb sounds great with the cleans, and is footswithcable. THE CASEThe case is a very basic, hard shell case. It fits the amp quite well and is very durable. It's not a full-on ATA case, but will protect it from damn near anything, and is suitable as a stand to put the amp atop. It has 4 butterfly latches. It can be seen underneath the amp in the first 2 pics. I put a few stickers on it. One is a big Mesa sticker, one is Shure (as in the microphone company), one is TC Electronic (Pedal/Processors), and the other is one of my band's stickers. I'm leaving them on, on the off chance you like them. Be aware that they are all plastic/vinyl and not paper so they should come right off. THE TUBESThe tubes in it are one practice shy of brand new. They are from Doug's Tubes (www.dougstubes.com). It has 4 JJ EL84 power tubes and their select goulash of five 12ax7 preamp tubes that they put together specifically to enhance Mesa amps. The difference in these vs the stockers was vast, and for the better. I will be including the power tubes that I took out most recently, which have lots of life left and are also the exact same JJs as the ones installed. This way, you have some extras. One thing I will say is that the amp has little wire clips that slide over the 4 power tubes to secure them in place. I used those like you're supposed to for awhile, but one night I uncased it at a show, and a tip had broken off one of the tubes! Well, since then I have just been letting the clips hang there, and no tube has ever even come close to sliding out... they're inthere pretty good. (just to save confusion, the tube that broke was changed out over a year ago, all 4 tubes installed are very new and work fine, the extras I'm providing are all in working order as well)ADDITIONAL INFOI feel I've covered everything pretty well. This is a great amp and will serve you like it should. It's all handmade in Petaluma, CA using great quality parts. Oh, some of you who have done your homework know that these amps had an issue with the pots. This is a later model Nomad and all the pots work fine. Believe me, if one was going to mess up it would have by now. Also, some may fret the volume level... well fear not. This is just ridiculously loud. I used this, our bassist uses a Mesa head with an Ampeg 8x10, other guitarist had a 412 with a 100 watt head, and our drummer is very heavy-handed. This amp can over power all three of them. I am selling it because I wanted to downsize to a small head/cab setup. If you have ANY other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I will be checking this quite frequently and will get back with you the same day most likely. CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES ONLY, PLEASE.

The handle is totally intact and original. There is a little bit of rust on the top of the chassis as you can see, that is also very minor. There are a couple spots of discoloration on the skunk stripe, but it still looks great. There is also one tiny hole in the grille cloth which you can barely see and will have to search for to find, and aside from this minor cosmetic wear this amp is tip top. Amp Auction Description: Up for auction on 1959 Magnatone 280 Stereo Vibrato Hi-Fi guitar and accordion amplifier. This is the holy grail of Magnatone amps. It was the model used by the likes of Buddy Holley and countless others. These amps are getting hard to find in this condition. This amp is all original including speakers, tolex, cover, tubes, and transformers. It was just serviced by Mike Bacino of Bacino Amplification. Mike installed a three prong plug and replaced the bias pot and one cap. This amp works perfect. It sounds amazing and the vibrato is to die for. I purchased this from the original owner's son. The casters on the bottom of the amp were added long ago. I have included pictures of the innards. Please ask questions before you bid not after. Don't miss this great opportunity. LIVE AUCTION REQUIREMENTS - SEE BEFORE BIDDING
Amp Auction Description: Up for sale is my 2009 THD Bi Valve amplifier. If you're looking at this, you likely know what it is. The genius behind Andy Marshall's design is that the power tubes are not only self biasing, it allows you to mix and match virtually any power and preamp tube at will, in any combination. This gives the guitarist an unlimited palette of sounds within a single chassis. Prior to this, if you wanted a different sound, you had to change amplifiers. Why change amps, when with this, you only have to change tubes. There's a lot of pride in the quality of this Seattle based manufacturing as well. The damping and tactile feel of the knobs and switches is unmatched as well. Who says we can't manufacture quality in the USA anymore? The condition of this head is immaculate, both physically and operationally. It never left my home. The amp comes with the original power cord, instruction manual, stock pair of GT EL-34's, and will be shipped in the original factory packaging. I also ordered and is included, a THD Tote Bag which will have to be shipped separately. The amp has never been inside the tote so it is brand new. This head sells for over $1500 on Musican's Friend/Guitar Center, etc. The tote bag sells for another $70, so the total for new is over $1600 with tax. I'm going to place a reserve on this to ensure that a fair price is paid, but I'm going to set it at a couple hundred under what these typically sell for on eBay. That doesn't mean it will sell for any less than the average, but it gives you an opportunity if the traffic is low for any reason. So if you're a serious buyer, you should be able to score this head. Happy New Year and buy yourself what you really wanted for Christmas!

Amp Auction Description: This is a pretty clean blues jr, with the basic bill mods and beefed up output transformer (both described below). This is about a 20 watt +/- OT and has an added speaker switch and jack that you can run at 8 or 4 Ohms-see pics. Makes it sound really big-great little grab and go amp or use as a backup. From the bill mod site.Basic kit, cream boardEverything you need to eliminate that boxy sound, take the harsh edge off the distortion tones, add back the "missing" lowest octave of bass and sweeten the clean tones: Orange drop tone stack and coupling capacitors, adjustable bias trimpot, power supply stiffening capacitor, even a #55 high speed steel drill for a professional job installing the adjustable bias and power supply stiffening cap. (It's just a couple of small holes; a fresh, sharp drill makes it easy.) The adjustable bias is a high-rel, precision, sealed, 25-turn trimpot for setting your bias accurately. The power supply stiffening capacitor doubles the size of the main filter stage, halves the ripple going to the output tubes, and provides solid bass tones that you'll notice right away. The David Allen-designed TO22 Heyboer output transformer works great in a Blues Junior, rounds out the bottom end, increases smoothness throughout the range. My version comes with the leads trimmed to length, push-on connectors installed, and a heavy-duty 4/8 ohm switch, partially prewired, also with push-on. Requires drilling a #38 hole for the mounting screw and a 15/32³ hole for the impedance switch. Choose this transformer if you intend to run an auxiliary speaker or a 4 ohm load most of the time or all of the time. The basic mods are essential to get the best performance from this or any other upgrade output transformer. On Dec-29-10 at 17:34:29 PST, seller added the following information:Oh, no footswitch. On Dec-31-10 at 12:05:02 PST, seller added the following information: Hey, I forgot to post this question.Q: Hi, Can you verify the mods that were made with receipts or other paperwork? If so, what do you have for verification?A: No, not really I bought all the parts from bill mods and installed it. ive done quite a few of these. i have the instructions etc and you can see the caps, pot, and transformer are all changed on the amp and on the pics on the instructions.
