Amp Auction Description: This head is not working. Please read the description carefully. Thanks. This is a Marshall JMP / Mk 2 Master Model 100 Watt Lead head. Not sure of the manufacture date but the serial # is 00909M. These are pretty rare. It has some scratches and tears in the tolex and the name plate is gone. I bought it back in the 90's. When it's serviced it plays like a complete beast. Extremely loud and simply amazing metal/classic rock tones. Hardly gets any better. high / low inputs preamp volume / master volume / treble, middle, bass and presence adjustable knobs impedance switch (4, 8 or 16 ohm) 2 speaker outputs 4 amp, 1 amp main fuse Please read carefully:All that being said, it definitely needs service to get it up and running. It powers up (the light comes on) but doesn't make any sound. When I replaced the fuse, I was able to play through it for about a minute before it blew and fizzed out. It could be a tube issue but I'm really not qualified to say. The current tubes are JJ EL 34's. They seem to be in good shape. One of them is a little loose and doesn't have a spring retainer. I'm looking to sell this to put some money away for a less expensive, small combo amp. Contact me with your questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Do not bid if you have zero or less than zero feedback. No exceptions, I am done with that. I will remove your bid. I will ship within the U.S. only. Buyer responsible for shipping/handling. Payment expected within 3 days of auction's end. Good luck and, again, contact me if you have any questions.

Amp Auction Description: This is a Laney Lionheart LT212 Speaker Cabinet, which is in absolute mint condition. I bought this about 2 months ago, and have to unload some of my equipment. This has never been gigged, and has never left my music room. Here is some info from Laney on this: If you have the Laney L20H, you won't want to compromise that great Class A tone by using any old cabinet. Instead, why not get the matching Laney LT212 cabinet. Featuring 2x 12" Celestion Heritage G12H Drivers and closed back construction, this cab gives thick, deep tones with growling bottom end power. This stylish and great sounding cab also features a folding tilt mechanism for optimum sound projection. Each LT212 features a hand stamped 'build number' in the order they come off the Laney production line, and comes with a custom made 'Lionheart' dust cover. If you have any questions, please ask. I also have the Laney Lionheart head for sale, and if you buy both, I will make a great deal on shipping...Thanks for looking

Amp Auction Description: Gallien-Krueger combo amplifier/bass effects. 150 watt @ 4 ohms. One previous owner purchased the unit new--there is some scuffing on the paint of one corner--but otherwise the amplifier works like brand new. No shorts, no electrical issues, no damage to any internal or external parts (except the paint). I am too much of an amateur to have such a fine piece of equipment. I will send more pictures on request. Because of the weight (it weighs over twenty pounds) and the fact that the amp is in perfect working condition I do not want to accept returns. If you know what you are looking at, I guarantee you will be pleased when you receive it. Because of the price, I will allow up to a week after receiving the amp to verify that it is in perfect working condition before the transaction is complete. Thanks for looking. This amp needs a good home, a real "stand-up" kind of musician.

LIVE AUCTION REQUIREMENTS - SEE BEFORE BIDDING
Amp Auction Description: Hi all. Up for sale is my Mesa Boogie Mark iia guitar amp. This amp features a graphic EQ, the 60/100 watt switch on the back, a factory installed cooling fan, and the original ElectroVoice (EV) 12L speaker. Also has new (less than 15 hours) Sovtek tubes. It has all the good stuff!! This amp is great. I haven't owned it for very long, but I can say that the clean channel is THE best I have ever played. This amp stays clean and loud, with very little breakup. I play jazz mostly, and not only can this amp be louder than the drums (which I never am, but could be if I wanted :')) it can stay clean, with little or no breaking up. The gain boost push/pull switch really helps with this. But, it can also keep up with a death metal band!! I can't say much about the dirty channel that you can't hear for yourself. Mesa Boogie's have been used on recordings by Santana, the Rolling Stones (for 15 years!!), Jerry Garcia and countless other bands. As I mentioned earlier, this amp can stay clean, but it rocks too. I can't imagine a situation where *all* the gain this amp has could be used. It can be smooth and huge, or really super-duper rocking. I don't use the word 'duper' lightly..... This amp comes with a Mesa Boogie Vibrato switch, and it changes the channels. Some technical stuff - The serial number on this amp is 307x. That dates this amp to 1978, and makes it 32/33 years old. That's old. This is also its original cabinet. The cabinet looks decent, but does have a few tolex tears. Most of these tears have been repaired, and look pretty good. The worst ones are on the front, above the controls. You can see a few of the rips on the photos of the back. Whoever repaired the other tolex rips didn't touch these... The graphic EQ is also missing 3 sliders, but they can be ordered from Mesa for a small fee. The cabinet is in decent shape, but the amp itself works great!! The clean channel sounds better than my Mark IV, and it looks cooler!!You don't see these amps come up very often, and this one sounds great. Also, I am not a huge store, or mega-seller!!!! or whatever they call it, so if you have a question, please feel free to message me and I'll actually answer you!!Shipping is gonna be expensive, because this thing is heavy. SHIPPING PRICE LISTED IS NOT WHAT ACTUAL SHIPPING WILL BE. EXPECT IT TO BE MORE!!! BUYER WILL PAY ACTUAL SHIPPING COSTS!! Not as heavy as my Mk4, but still heavy. Also, I'm not really willing to mess with the packing/not pack it well enough/gets damaged in shipping game, so I will have it professionally packaged and shipped. That way it'll get to you safe, and the buyer will pay actual shipping costs. Got a quote from UPS today and they said $125 to the West Coast. If at all possible, I would prefer to do local pickup. This amp is located in Chicago, and local pickup is available. No international bidders. Paypal payment only. NO ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS!! NO RETURNS. Sold as is. If you have any questions, message me and I WILL get back to you, possibly within half an hour. Thanks for looking!!

Amp Auction Description: Vox Custom AC30C2 30W 2x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp w/CaseVery good amp, works perfectly. The front cover felt has separated a little as you can see in the picture , but there are no other tears. I'm sure it could be repaired to improve the cosmetic appearance. There are a few minor scratches also on the amp. My son used it and traveled with his Church band. This amp sounds great.Below is a technical description from Guitar Center Web Site where the amp retails for $999.00This Vox amp offers two channels: Normal and Top-Boost. Each channel is equipped with its own Volume control, and the Top Boost channel offers highly interactive Treble and Bass tone controls. This powerful channel pairing provides an abundance of tone-crafting control, letting you dial in a classic sound that is all your own. Both channels on this Vox tube amplifier rely on the Tone Cut and Volume controls in the Master section. The Tone Cut control operates in the power stage rather than the preamp stage, allowing an additional degree of tone shaping. The Master Volume control works in conjunction with the individual volumes of each channel to create just the right degree of gain staging. By balancing the individual and Master volumes, the Vox Custom amplifier can deliver everything from a clean Vox "chimey" sound to a powerful overdriven tone.Included is the Road Read Case on wheels - Retail $369.99Rock out and party like a rock star with the RRGC212C Guitar Amp Combo Case. Designed to accommodate various 2 x 12" guitar amp combos including Fender, VOX, Marshall, Line, Rivera, Ampeg and others, the RRGC212C features our high-density Z-Lock Foam inserts so that creating the perfect custom space for your amp combo is a snap! Simply add or remove layers of our Z-Lock Foam to create the perfect fit ( min dimensions: 24.5 " L x 10 " W x 18 " H , max. dimensions: 31.5 " L x 15.5 " W x 24" H). And to keep the good times rolling, we designed this rocker with a low profile base for easy access and included a caster for easy transportation.

By balancing the individual and Master volumes, the Custom Series can deliver everything from a clean VOX "chimey" sound to a powerful overdriven tone.Sound in MotionYou can sweeten the sound of your Custom Series amplifier using the VOX Classic Tremolo effect. Both the speed and the depth are adjustable, allowing you to generate just the sound you want. A warm Spring Reverb is also included on all Custom Series amps, adding spaciousness to the sound. All Custom Series amps can use the VOX VFS2 footswitch, allowing you to turn the Reverb and Tremolo effects on and off as you continue to play.Power SharingThe AC15C1 combo makes use of 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes and uses pair of EL84 tubes to drive a single 12" Celestion G12M Greenback. All models in the Custom Series offer a switchable 8/16 ohm output jack for powering an external speaker cabinet when you need to speak with a little more authority; using this jack will mute the internal speakers. Additionally, a 2nd extension speaker jack allows you to run an extra 16 ohm cabinet along with the internal speakers for a fuller sound. From their earliest origins to the present day, VOX has sent numerous custom-color and limited-color amplifiers out into the world. Ranging from standard colors such as gray, blue, green, and purple to original colors such as two-tone and tan, this range of variation goes far beyond that of other amp brands. Each of these models has represented a further enhancement of the superb VOX design and unique look, and has captured the interest of guitarists in every generation. Now, the limited-color Vintage Red resurrects a custom color that appeared in 1963, for a particularly vintage character. With a character that differs from the limited red on VOX amps of recent years, this model projects a weightier and deeper feeling. It's an excellent match for the AC15C1 - the reigning standard of mid-size tube-amps - and will project a powerful presence in any environment; on stage, in the studio, or at home. Using a kit from billmaudio.com I made a few changes. Here is a list of the mods:Power Supply Mod - Added another filter cap to stiffen the bass response. Provides more punch and incisive pick attack.Bias Adjust Mod - Allows the amp to be properly biased. Blues Juniors are often biased far to hot. This can shorten tube life and lead to other circuit board/solder joint problems.Tone Stack Mod - Sprague Orange Drop Caps correct the "boxy" tone of the amp. Replacing the speaker can also help fine tune the tone you are looking for. I ran a Celestion Greenback (highly recommend) in this amp but have re-installed the stock speaker for resale.Twin Stack Mod - (Actually it's just a simple jumper wire) This mod gives you all of your stock Blues Junior mid tones from about 4 and up on the control and fewer mids, down to none, from 4 down to 1. It opens up the possibility of an ultra-scooped tone, with just treble and bass, as well as bass-only overdrive, which can be very effective by eliminating middle and high harmonics. The amp has 3 Fender Groove Tube 12AX7 preamp tubes and JJ EL84 output tubes. NOTE: I will include instructions (from the BillM kit) on how to bias the amp should you wish to replace or experiment with different output tubes. All you need is a Volt meter, clip leads, and some careful respect for high voltage! The amp comes with a cover but does not include the "Fat" foot switch.Shipping will be through UPS to the USA lower 48 only. Only PayPal will be accepted. Thanks for looking!

Amp Auction Description: Relisted due to no payment from last highest bidder, Amp has been gone through since then and is in great working condition. One of these just sold for over a 1000, So with a .99 starting bid, you might be able to get a smokin deal!http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270706252426&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT This is a very loud and awesome sounding dual monoblock stereo tube amplifier. It has two seperate 100 watt EL34 marshall channels. Pure tone! These were around 2700 new, with a 2000 street price. Here is the product info and manual: http://www.marshallamps.com/product.asp?productCode=EL34-100100 Known issues:1. has some scuffs/wear on the chassis, usual rack wear on the mounts too. a couple of screw's to get the top plate off are pretty stripped and need replaced... I was still able to use them though. Front face and back panel look almost new. 2. when I originally posted this there was a bit of crackle and hiss in one channel, I originally thought this was a bad tube. Because the last buyer didn't go through with the purchase I had time to go through the amp and clean the sockets and everything seems to be working great now.3. The presence knob is a little loose on channel B.. probably just need to widen the teeth on the pot, still works great so I havent messed with it. I am looking for a different sound and changed over to 2 combo fender amps, This head has worked great for me since I've owned it but I have to sell it to make some money for new gear. Shipping is expensive on this because it is HEAVY! Please read the following carefully Paypal only I only ship to the lower 48 states I will only combine shipping on 4 items or more, and I will not accept local pickup due to a previous bad experience. All Items are sold AS-IS I DO NOT accept returns, I describe my products as accurately as possible (look at my feedback!), and can answer any questions if need be. All shipments will be insured in case any shipping damage that occurs. Feel free to email me with any questions, thanks!

Amp Auction Description: Screaming metal drive like you've never heard before! This sweet combo is a veritable pandora's box of great sounds, and is built to strict specifications set up by Edward Van Halen. As with all Peavey 5150 amps they have the Brown sound - a smooth crunch sound along with great lush harmonics. The Peavey 5150 Combo amp is a combination of the Peavey 5150 amp design with two 12" Sheffield 1200 speakers. The amp features 60 watts RMS and is voiced to EVH specs. This is the same specifications used in his amps. The preamp section consists of five 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 6L6 power amp tubes. The preamp section has two channels: a Rhythm channel and lead channel. The Rhythm channel has both PRE and POST gain controls. It also has bright and crunch switches. The lead channel consists of PRE and POST gain controls so you can get any sound between ultra-clean to molten lead tube sound. The 5150 Combo also has a 3-band EQ (global) as well as Presence and Resonance controls. There is also an Effects Loop post-EQ as well as a preamp out for connecting to another amp or for recording. The speaker cabinet is of the closed back design and consists of Two Sheffield 1200 12" speakers that have been voiced to Edward Van Halen's specs. Features 60 Watts RMSFive 12AX7 preamp tubes Two 6L6GC power tubes HI and LO Gain Inputs2 channel preampPRE and POST gain Controls on both channelsBright & Crunch Switches 3-band EQPresence and Resonance Controls Post-EQ effects loop Preamp output This 60 watt tube combo is the amp for metal. I listen to bands such as In Flames, Unearth, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, etc... This amp nails that tone and more. Before I bought this amp I tried out many of the suggested metal tube amps such as the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier and the Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100. This amp can definately do battle with the best amps. The Dual Rectifier is much more versatile but the 5150 has amazing crunch and that cut-through edge for metal. There is a rhythm channel and a lead channel. The rhythm channel is good for classic rock and such. The lead channel is for DUH lead. There is an EFX loop in the back of the amp, 2x12" speakers with a closed back cabinet for tighter bass, a crunch button, and a bright button. The knobs consist of rhythm pre/post, lead pre/post, low, mid, high, reverb, resonance, and presence.

Amp Auction Description: DescriptionYou are looking at a RARE 1960 Fender Bandmaster Tube Guitar Amplifier. It is from a local estate and appears to have been in a closet for much of it's life but has not been used for a long time. It is an original survivor and works, but there is no tremolo, and the controls are dirty. We are unsure how well it works and would recommend having it gone through. It appears original as far as some parts, and others look like they have been replaced. We are unsure about the transformers and other components. You can be the judge based on the photos. The serial number is 00454. The tag inside is unreadable. Note we have not tested the tubes. It appears that the grill cloth was painted, but you can seee the brown under it. The tolex may also have been sprayed years ago. The good news is the tolex is in good shape, and it doesn't appear that this amp has ever seen any moisture. We ship worldwide and routinely ship to Northern Europe, Japan, Australia and many, many other countries. Note that we can ship this at a discounted rate through FedEx if too large or heavy to ship USPS.A word about all vintage tube guitar amps: These amps are over 50 years old. We unfortunately cannot warranty this amp due to age. While this amp produces sound and it sounds good to us, the tubes have not been tested. This means the tubes could be like new or weak. Also, we have no way of knowing what kind of shape the capacitors are in. They have a shelf life of around 15 years. That being said, we cannot offer a set aside for amp problems, especially when shipping an amp across country and no control over the next owner. It would make a great addition to that guitar collection or for the collector that has everything. Best of all, we are selling this guitar amp at NO RESERVE. We will let the market determine the value. Best of luck in the auction.Would you like us to sell your items? Amp Auction Description: CERIATONE LIVERPULL AMPLIFIER WITH MERCURY MAGNETICS OUTPUT TRANSFORMER.THIS AMP WAS BUILT BY AUTHORIZED CERIATONE TECH JERRY DYER OF www.surrealamplification.comJERRY IS A PROFESSIONAL AMP BUILDER AND HAS BUILT AT LEAST ELEVEN CERIATONEAMPS FOR ME. THE AMP SOUNDS WONDERFUL! I AM REALTOR AND I NEED MONEY THAT ISWHY I AM SELLING. Here are some reviews: Ceriatone Trainwreck Liverpoolfierce_carrotApril 6th, 2007, 08:02 PMI just recieved my Trainwreck Liverpool from Ceriatone and I have to put my two cents worth in on the amp and Ceriatone.I was VERY HESITANT to order an amp from a company 10K miles away in a foreign land. I did weeks and weeks of research on both the Trainwrecks and Ceriatone in particular. I found it very odd that of all the hundreds of reviews on Ceriatone, I didn't find ONE that had anything negative to say.The "wrecks" are legendary, almost the unicorn of amps. There wasn't a chance in hell I'd ever fork over $40-50 THOUSAND dollars for one of them even if I could afford it. I'd heard the numerous clips on the net and I was convinced that this amp was what I was looking for. My main rig has been a GDS 18watter based on the Marshall schematics I built 4 years ago and it's never failed me, but I wanted that ONE amp where I could go from clean to insane feedback controlled distortion by twisting the volume knob on the guitar.Nik at Ceriatone was responsive to my various emails and helped me customize the amp to my particular needs. My style is "hard blues and blues rock". I've worked with electronics for over 30 years so I was absolutely knocked out by the incredible quality and attention to detail of the PTP wiring of the wreck. I'm sure he has a number of people building his amps and who ever trained them did a magnificent job. The work is mind boggling.Nik got behind a bit on the delivery date of my amp by a few days and with an upcoming gig, he worked hard to make sure my amp arrived in time so I could get it installed in the cabinet and get some playing time on it.I'm pushing an Avatar 4x12 cab with Celestion greenbacks and vintage 30's. About the only thing I can say about this amp is that it is a BEAST in every sense of the word. I thought my 18watter had great note defination, this thing never loses it even as you crank the volume up and the 3 stages of gain kick in. I'm running 4xEl84's and it sounds like somewhat like a Vox/Marshall on steriods then injected with nitrous. The amp response is amazing. I'm so pleased with the amp that I'm going to order an Trainwreck Express that runs El34's next. I've got to know what they are like after this thing. There are so many times we read about companies or individuals who rip consumers off, or products that are more hype than substance, but this isn't one of those time. Now that everyday bar burners like me can get our hands on holy grails like Trainwrecks, I expect to word to get out very very quickly what these things are really like.My kudos to Nik, he really came thru!aunchakiApril 6th, 2007, 10:44 PMmust... see... pictures...marc sosnoffApril 7th, 2007, 08:03 AMyes we need pictures ..............PoppatwangApril 7th, 2007, 07:51 PMGood to hear. I've got a Ceriatone 18 watter in the pipeline. Not enough spareminutes to do a kit, so I sprung for a built chassis.fierce_carrotApril 8th, 2007, 09:15 AMI gigged with my Liverpool on Friday night and I am totally knocked out. I only had a couple of hours to play with it prior to the gig so I was walking in pretty cold. These have reps as very articulate amps with tons of gain yet don't lose note defination, and those descriptions are dead on.It has a 36/18 watt half power switch and I left it on the 18 setting. Having an 18watt marshall clone I knew it would be more than enough for this club and this time I'd be pushing 4x12s in a closed back cab instead of my 2x12 open back in the 18.The amp is incredibly bright, and I really like to play single coils so the bright switch was off, the presence off and the treble off.I've never had an amp anywhere like this thing. I think these two videos will give you and idea of what they can do.http://youtube.com/watch?v=j6VAipqeIpohttp://youtube.com/watch?v=IKSH_KUoJPcThe volume knob on your guitar becomes incredibly important as it's now your "boost pedal". It can go from a gritty kinda clean to insane feedback controlled distortion instantly. I'm a huge fan of players who use feedback sustain like Gary Moore and Carlos Santana and this amp will do it with at TELE! The amp loves single coils and with buckers, you are instantly into hard rock territory. I can't imagine anybody running and distortion or boost pedals with the wreck. I've owned possibly a hundred amps in my life and never had anything close to it. People look to the Soldano SLO100 (owned one) as the cadillac of insane gain with note defination and this goes beyond that. Where the SLO got "buzzy" with so much gain, this doesn't. It has the articulation of the Plexi's and It's not an amp for an inexperienced guitarist because one has to have an idea of the tone they want and how to control the feedback sustain. It's an amp for those who want the ultimate in simplicity, you-guitar-cord-amp. It's a dream amp for those who love to take solo's as the amp really soars when you crank the guitar volume knob to 10. I loved the freedom of not having a pedal board in front of me especially having to stomp on and off a boost pedal for my solos.I believe that Ceriatone, by offering low cost clones of an amp that is virtually unattainable is going to have a giant impact on guitarists. This amp is the first that I've owned that truly lived up to both the hype and my expectations. I built my own head cab, bought a used avatar 4x12 cab which I recovered and my total cost for the amp, cabinet, and tolex/grill cloth is about $1100.00!!!!!One of the best parts when gigging was watching the looks on my friends eyes as they watched me play. I was having a blast and the band and crowd were too. We were into a real "roadhouse" vibe all night long. I then invited a couple of my friends onstage to test drive the amp during the night while I stood in the crowd and listened. These are some damned experienced guitarists and watching them get a grip on the amp and then taking off was just too funny. The common statement was "Holy Sh!t"!!!!It was probably just coincidence, but one of the waitresses told us as we were loading out that it was the best night ever for her tips...and the bar....maestrovertApril 8th, 2007, 11:25 AMThanx for the links, & fer the heads up !Cobra8272April 8th, 2007, 12:09 PMNice tone Nice playingi too have an 18watt TMB on the way from Ceriatone. But that Trainwreck sure sounds goodCobrafierce_carrotApril 20th, 2007, 03:00 PMOver on http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=239051there is a head to head comparison between a REAL Trainwreck and one of Niks clones...read for yourself...jackdc100April 20th, 2007, 08:03 PMHow loud is it? Is overbearingly loud in a bar? Thanks,-Jackfierce_carrotApril 21st, 2007, 09:57 AMHow loud is it? Is overbearingly loud in a bar? Thanks,-JackI have the 1/2 power switch and the PPIMV...so I have a firm control over the volume. It's been a blast to play!cholula69May 22nd, 2007, 05:46 PMI know I am getting this thread late but first, the playing kills; Kudos! Next, do the Ceriatone offer built amps or is it a self built kit? I have been pining away for a 4xEL84 amp for some time now.Thanks11 GaugeMay 22nd, 2007, 07:41 PMGo here:ceriatone.comThey've got everything, from boards & chassis, to fully built up (no cabs or speakers). And they've got kits from Champs to various Marshalls, 'wreck clones, and even Matchless clones.I was gonna build one of their 5E3 heads, but I'm jonesing for an Express (2X6V6) myself.I just got a 2204 (PTP!) board today from Ceriatone. All of those Mal 150's are just beautiful looking, and installation should be a breeze.caffeinate_edMay 22nd, 2007, 08:22 PMI just finished my Ceriatone Matchless DC30 build a few weeks ago. I couldn't be happier with the quality and service that Nick provides. You can get pre-built amps from him for not much more than the kits. There are a few builders who put them together, from what I gather, and between the quality of work on my boards and the photos I've seen, they do a great job.11 GaugeMay 22nd, 2007, 11:45 PMYou can get pre-built amps from him for not much more than the kits. For the average guitarist, this is the way to go, unless it's a single-ended design like the Champ, or a very simple design, like the 5E3.But even the complete 5E3s from Ceriatone are so affordable that it really makes sense to buy them complete (unless you've got time to kill).Nik makes it easy for an amp tweaker like me to be lazy and buy the completed project. I try to stay one step ahead by implementing modifications to the circuit (hey - that's the beauty of PTP).namidaMay 23rd, 2007, 02:08 AMcarrot, thats some sweet sweet playing and the juice out of that amp is remarkable. From whisper to bark, damn. Congratulations on that fantastic amp, and yes I'm envious :mrgreen:Cobra8272May 24th, 2007, 10:32 AMMy Guitar tutor has been looking at one of these .This thread and my Ceriatone 18watt made his mind up - he's ordered one with a few mods.when i hear it next week i'll give you a heads up.Cobrafierce_carrotMay 24th, 2007, 10:47 AMI've had my wreck for a couple of months now and I am in total tone lust. It's so cool to have it set for a plexi style done for some songs and then crank up the volume to increase the gain and jump right into ZZ Top "Tres Hombres" tones. This kind of flexibility makes for a really fun night of playing.and pedals....who needs steeenkin pedals?68teleMay 24th, 2007, 11:33 AMCarrot - Is the Trainwreck 'better' than your 18watt? Can the Trainwreck do Angus? Page? Keef?Larry FMay 24th, 2007, 12:31 PMCarrot, what's you feeling about feedback? The clips that I've heard seem to show that some very nice feedback can get going at low volume levels. Does it feel to you like simply a matter of sustain, or do you think something else is going on? It is a very notable and attractive feature for me.fierce_carrotMay 25th, 2007, 09:19 AM68 - I have a PPIMV master volume and a 1/2 power switch so I can drop it to 18 watts and I did a side by side comparison with my 18 watt and yes, the liverpool can jump right into that same terroritory my 18watter can. The real fun is playing with the volume and master volume controls and you can radically change the amp. It can go from plexi style clean to bone crushing distortion by just twisting the volume controls. As great as the Marshall 18watt circuits are, I think this takes them to the next level and beyond.Larry - I LOVE THE FEEDBACK!!....it's an entirely new dynamic that I have searched for and never been able to find. I thought the Soldano SLO100's would do it but learned a very expensive lesson that they don't. With the PPIMV, i can get feedback induced sustain at any moment at even the lowest volume levels. Think Carlos Santana and those one note "cries" where he grabs it and just holds it, playing the sustain like any other note. It will do it with my teles, my strats, my Les Paul, but with my Flying V it almost becomes a religious experience its so fun! You really have to learn how to play this feature as you can burn on the fretboard and then stop on a dime and play that sustain, as you change your finger pressure on the note, the note will change as your pressure does! This is just way too cool to even try to explain. This thing just absolutely blows me away. Having had more amps than I can even begin to count over the last 40 years, I have finally found my holy grail. It might not work for everybody, but there are those out there who aren't afraid of an amp you have to play just like you play your guitar.I don't use nor need any pedals with this amp. It's great to be back to basics, me, guitar, cord, and the wreck. I can now just play the guitar instead of thinking about when I have to kick in what pedal to get something that the amp wasn't capable of doing.psychotelepathicMay 25th, 2007, 11:08 PMI just finished my Ceriatone Matchless DC30 build a few weeks ago. Please post 'em. I've seen those Trainwreck Express clips on youtube, and I've seen guys post youtube videos of themselves with their Ceriatone 18 watters. But no ceriatone (or clone) clips of an Express or Liverpool. You sir, Mr. Fierce_Carrot, would be doing a service to your fellow amp geek to fill that void.Vol. KnobMay 29th, 2007, 02:42 PMOhhh.. Lookie what I found. Does it sound anything like this?pEK7jB-4bC4 On Feb-21-11 at 06:53:38 PST, seller added the following information:There is a small nick in the upper right corner front wood panel. It is smaller than a standard pencil eraser. it does not in anyway affect the performance of the amplifier. A new frontwood panel could be made by any cabinet maker. You could put what ever wood you want. There are fourscrews holding the wood panel in place. Thank you. :)
