Over $600 all told with installation. The amp sounds amazing, with bell like cleans and a throaty breakup around 5 or six o'clock! The MM upgrades alleviated all of the harshness and farty low-end you normally find with DRRI's. The amp currently has all matched Electro-Harmonics tubes with lots of like left in them. Speaker is stock,(my amp tech specifically recommended that I not replace the speaker with the overhaul, as all sound issues would be alleviated.) This amp has been gigged but has spent its life inside a slip cover when not on stage and is in near-mint condition. Slip cover and channel switch included. Amp Auction Description: Up for auction is an absolutely beautiful 1967 Airline guitar amp, the Tremolo, model GVC-9045. It really is in wonderful shape, sounds incredible, quiet, breaks up nicely. Made by Valco for Montgomery Wards, they also manufactured the Supro line of amps. It has two inputs, Low & High. Volume & Tone controls, Tremolo on/off/speed control. Footswitch jack, but you don't need it to use the tremolo. Tubes are 1-6V6, 1-5Y3, 2-12AX7. Has original Jensen C10R speaker, code is 220746. Take a look at that transformer, beautiful shape. Original sticker with Model & Serial numbers, and here's a really rare extra....still has the spare fuse intact, never been opened! The amp is about 5 or 6 very loud watts, really crunches, strong vibrato. Weighs about 20 lbs, 20" x 8" x 18". No tears or rips in the tolex anywhere. Since then it's been sitting in my smoke free bonus room with the Marshall vinyl cover on it, which is also included. Marshall's top of the line cabinet: Solid birch ply, metal handles, vintage basket weave with old style Marshall and 100 logos. 120 watts at 16 ohms. Speakers are Celestion G12H-30 Heritage reissue series. I tried both the angled and straight version of this cab and the straight to my ears is much better due to more bottom end. This cabinet paired with any plexi style amp or even a JCM-800 absolutely sings. Casters and manual also included. I prefer local pickup in Raleigh, NC area but do have a cabinet box for shipping. The sixties were the Golden Era of these amps, the best years of production for what's known as the best studio recording amp out there. Even the tubes in this amp are completely original with the exception of just one. These are known for their fantastic tone and universal application, but also because of their unique design and versatilityI'm not well-versed in tube amps, but did not power on until doing some research...then plugged the amp into a variac and powered up very slowly to allow the caps to charge and form properly. Every tube lights up and looks clean, each channel outputs to the speaker when a mic was plugged in, and the speaker has no distortion whatsoever that I could hear. No crackles or popping sounds, very quiet when running. The lamps inside the amp light up just fine and light through the clear acrylic Ampeg badge on front.Please Note: Because this is a vintage piece of electronic equipment, I cannot guarantee that every tube is 100% or that the amp does not need any service so I must sell as-is, no returns. If you would like anything checked prior to bidding I'm happy to do so if it's a safe procedure for the amp and if walked through it...as I said, I'm no expert.Overall condition is excellent, some small signs of wear to the cabinet (very few and very small) and little to none on the amp itself. It lives in a smoke free, climate controlled studio, and has only ever traveled in a heavy duty 3/8 in road case (which is NOT included in the auction, but is available if the winner is interested). Serial #39 purchased new, from Two Rock directly, in 2008, and was a special order/upgrade for the vintage white cabinet at the time. This amp was built long before the Premier Builders Guild merger/buyout/affiliation. A true work of art. Amp Auction: Marshall 2266C Vintage Modern 2X12 50 Watt Combo

Amp Auction Description: This amp is in extremely good condition and has been babied all its life. I bought it new a few years ago to replaced some JCM 800 stuff that I had sold. It has a Fender clean on dynamic 1 that is absolute pure tube tone. Dynamic 2 goes into Jcm 800 territory but with a little more gain. This amp sounds really good down low but the magic happens when you turn it up. Wow! This amp gives me chill bumps when cranked! It is very guitar/volume sensitive and takes some trial and error to find the right sound for the individual. Even when on a really high gain setting, when you roll the volume off, it really cleans up. Put a quality overdrive pedal in front and it just gets better. Start with all the EQ settings at 12 and play with the two preamp gains to get your desired low and high settings. I always left them all at 12 except the mid which I had about 75%. I played a strat through it and it is perfect for single coils as well as humbuckers. This is a professional, quality amp. It has a few very minor blemishes in the tolex which happened during a move. I never gigged with it at all and never changed tubes or anything. It is 100% stock. One blemish is on the back and the other is a pencil eraser size spot on the bottom of the front. The faceplate and all metal surfaces are perfect. I am reluctantly selling it because it is heavy and I am getting older plus I dont need the power. I have a VOX AC15 handwired and a Deluxe Reverb which fill the bill nicely with their low wattage and lighter weight. It comes with footswitch and power cord. Here's what musicians friend says about it. The perfect marriage of classic, vintage rock tones with modern features.The Marshall Vintage Modern 2266C 50 Watt 2 x 12 is an all-valve single channel amplifier with a choice of two dynamic ranges selectable by footswitch. The Low range equates to the performance you would come to expect from a stock vintage Marshall amplifier in terms of tone and available gain. The High range adds an extra preamp valve into the signal path, facilitating those classic hard rock tones of the seventies. A MID Boost switch on the front panel fattens the tone even more while a traditional Marshall tone control circuit enables fine tuning of your sound. This is implemented after the phase splitter in order to fully exploit maximum preamp drive when the master is turned down low. A reverb level control mixes the on board plate reverb with the direct signal to whatever degree the player chooses. The reverb can be toggled on and off via the footswitch. Finally, a series FX loop is provided for those players who wish to use outboard effect to further enhance their sound. Loop levels of "10dB and +4dB are catered for via rear panel switch as well as the option to completely bypass this feature if it is not required. The Combo comes fitted with two Celestion G12C 25 Watt greenback speakers enabling stand-alone performance. There is a facility for using an extension cab if required. The cosmetics are also a carefully crafted hybrid of old and new styles " made even more dramatic by the deep purple vinyl that covers the entire series. Amp Auction: Marshall JCM 900 head Voodoo Amp Mod Mercury Transforme

Amp Auction Description: Sadly, my beloved Marshall JCM 900, modified by the wizards at Voodoo Amps must be sold. I am the original owner of the amp, and have been since 1991 (the manufacture date on the tag says 4 7 90, which is likely July as it was made in the UK). This is the best 900 you will ever hear. With the mod the distortion is smooth and musical. The tubes are NEW Ruby all the way through, pre-amp and all. The amp was recapped, and it has the famed Mercury Magnetics output transformer. There is a picture of the mod sticker, though not very clear. The mod with tubes and tranny cost nearly $700 alone. I hate to sell it, but I only do studio stuff now and can't move it around like I can my combo.The amp sounds great and works great. It is quite clean. Here are a few things that must be stated in advance. a. There is no back panel. This was in my road case rack and it was removed to keep it cool. b. It is in a mint condition DSL head box, not the 900 (the top plastic grill melted in the rack! Hence why I need to keep it cool). And c. there is no reverb pan. The cables are hanging loose. I used a rack mount effects in my rack so I removed it years ago.That being said because of its age, it is sold as is. Though you won't be disappointed. Amp Auction: VINTAGE FENDER BASSMAN 50 HEAD AND AMP PRE CBS? TUBE

Amp Auction Description: Up for bid is a extremely clean, used Fender Bassman 50 head and amp cabinet combo. I believe this unit to be a pre CBS model but am not positive. Any information provided will be helpful. Head serial # is A85170 and cabinet serial # is 33593. Any information on the date of manufacture would also be helpful. Heres the story.... This unit was sold new at Morgan Music in Lebanon Missouri to a local church where it spent a good part of its life. The church later traded it back to Morgan Music for something more light and manuverable. It was then sold to a dear friends father in the mid 70's where it remained until today. Condition is exceptional considering its age. I have taken photos of any wear and tear on the cover. This is one of the cleanest amps i have ever had. Appears to be all original except plug has been replaced with a three prong plug. (plug only, cord is still original) Streak on backside of cabinet is a drip mark and i will be working to remove this prior to shipment. All other defects are shown in the pictures. Like most British speaker manufacturers Goodmans focus was on producing the ultimate fullrange driver and was amongst the leaders of its progression. In 1952 Goodman engineer Ted Jordan created the 'Goodmans Axiette', which is widely regarded, even today, as one of the finest single-cone, full range drivers of all time. As the frequency range of modern recordings expanded so did the technology of fullrange and point-source speakers, Goodmans was always at the forefront of this progression.The Axiom is a late 1950's era progression of Goodmans point-source driver. It is one of the most natural sounding fullrange drivers around, greatly esteemed by audiophiles and musicians alike. While the Axiom 301's were developed and used for hi-fidelity reproduction applications, they were used in many vintage VOX guitar amplifiers during the 60's because of their outstanding sonic attribute. The Axiom 301's present a very coherent and natural sonic picture. Bass response, in the correct cabinet, is surprisingly deep. The midrange is astonishingly natural, with an accurate sonic portrayal akin to ESL designs. High frequency extends extraordinarily high for such a large driver. The Axiom 301 can be used by itself or supplemented with other drivers.
